'Young Hare Reading after Jean-Honore Fragonard's Young Girl Reading. I painted this sweet little lady for my solo exhibition of 2019 called April Hares. It is an oil painting on a recycled Italian brass oval frame. I have loved Fragonard's painting my whole life and I thoroughly enjoyed studying his beautiful work. The border is a photoshopped addition to the composition and includes many layers of flora and fauna designs meticulously arranged to create this final image.'
